Year 1 Teacher

Due to a maternity cover, Teaching Personnel are working with a good Primary School in Salford to look for a Key Stage 1 teacher to join their infant department from 13th April. The position of Key Stage 1 teacher will be starting after the Easter holidays with a view to continuing for the rest of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a recently graded “Good” school under the new OFSTED framework. This welcoming school within the Salford area offer great facilities and a support network within their Key Stage 1 department. With a focus on phonics, speaking and listening, the school’s facilities are second to none to allow for a high standard of teaching and learning.

As a Year 1 teacher, experience of working with various phonics schemes, leading small groups and planning for several Teaching Assistants would be important. In addition, a passion for working with mixed ability, high levels of SEN and EAL children would serve you well. In return, the school would offer either a newly qualified teacher or fully qualified teacher all the support and CPD possible. If you are interested in this role please send an updated CV.
