Year 1 Maternity Cover, Lancaster (LA1)
Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry primary school Lancaster, Lancashire (LA1) who are looking for a teacher to join their KS1 team on a full time basis starting in September 2023. This ‘GOOD’ primary school are looking for a committed KS1 teacher with strong curriculum knowledge and behaviour management techniques who will be able to effectively deliver all areas of the Year 1 curriculum to one of their two year 1 classes.
To be considered for this role, you will have recent and relevant experience teaching across KS1 and will be able to deliver enticing lessons at an ‘OUTSTANDING’ level whilst always moving children forward in their learning. This role will start September 2023 and will run up until the end of the academic year.
This is a lovely school who ‘value the diversity of our school community’. The school are looking for a teacher who comes with a positive attitude and new ideas to become a valued member of the school team. Experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to get in touch to apply for this post.
To be considered you will:
- Have recent and relevant experience teaching in Year 1
- Have strong behaviour management techniques
- Have a sound knowledge of the KS1 curriculum knowledge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
