Year 1 Teacher

• Work on a part or full-time basis
• Work across a number of KS1 year groups
• Work on a day to day and medium term basis in a range of Colne Primary Schools.

Over the past term, Teaching Personnel have received a high volume of schools requiring KS1 teachers to work flexibly across Colne and the surrounding areas. The type of work we have received has been varied, from; on the morning day to day bookings to pre booked medium term (a week) work. The teachers who have got on well this year and received positive feedback, have been the ones who can work comfortably across the KS1 classes and who can build strong relationships instantly with the children. There is no preference as to whether you are Newly or Fully Qualified, as long as you have received 'qualified teacher status' and you are able to work effectively as a Primary practitioner in a range of schools. As a result of the different schools you will be working in, it is also important that you can effectively manage behaviour.
