The School is located in Rothwell (Leeds) close to Castleford, Middleton and East Ardsley with great public transport links to the school. The school are looking for a Year 1 Class Teacher to start as soon as possible to fill an unexpected absence full-time. The class will have 30 children of mixed ability with one child with complex SEN needs.
The school are looking for a:
* Year 1 Class Teacher (Newly Qualified and Recently Qualified are encouraged to apply)
* Experience teaching pupils in Key Stage 1
* Able to plan and mark work (will be allocated 1 afternoon for PPA time per week)
* Confident and warm Teacher who is available straight away
The school received 'Outstanding' at its last Ofsted in 2014 and have roughly 195 pupils and 3% SEN pupils in school. Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability and many more.
