Are you a recent graduate seeking to gain further experience within a secondary school environment prior to completing a teacher training programme in the future? Do you have experience working with children and young people, whether this be in a supporting or tuition capacity?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with secondary schools and Academies located within the Bury LEA to provide temporary, fixed term and flexible support assistants this academic year. Due to an increase in students requiring additional support throughout the year, schools wish to appoint graduates across all specialist areas to work with them on a flexible and temporary basis to alleviate pressure from other staff members.

- Earn up to GBP1300 per month

The roles available within our client secondary schools and Academies include Cover Supervising, intervention, learning support and teaching assistant work. The work can range from daily ad-hoc work, temporary weekly work and longer term staffing requirements, and Teaching Personnel are able to work around your availability.

You will be successful if:

- You have a degree level qualification or a teaching assistant qualification.
- You have some previous experience working with children and young people.
- Subject to enhanced Child Only DBS & two references.

Our partner secondary schools and Academies range from challenging environments to those with 'Good' and 'Outstanding' gradings from Ofsted and will provide you with invaluable experience to become an outstanding teacher of the future. Situated in Bury, the schools can easily be reached via the M66 motorway, and there are public transportation links from central Manchester.
