Location: Rhondda Cynon Taff
Contract: Full Time, Until the end of the academic year
Pay Rate: £89.38 per day (£13.75 per hour)
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Are you a passionate Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant looking to support young learners and make a positive impact?
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic Welsh-speaking TAs, both qualified and unqualified, to work within Welsh-medium primary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taff. This role offers opportunities to support pupils across the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 through the medium of Welsh.

About the Role
As a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant, you may be responsible for:
• Supporting the delivery of engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh
• Assisting pupils across a range of abilities and learning needs
• Providing one-to-one, group, or general classroom support
• Encouraging positive behaviour, participation, and independence
• Helping create a welcoming and encouraging learning environment
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
• Confident and fluent in spoken and written Welsh
• Experienced in working with children OR eager to begin a career in education
• Passionate about promoting Welsh language and culture
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting high-quality learning
• Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
Qualified TAs, unqualified TAs, and individuals with childcare or youth experience are all welcome to apply.
Requirements
Teaching Personnel provides guidance and support to obtain:
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) Registration (Support Staff)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Two professional references from the last two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
