Tutors required in Lancashire!
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel work closely with a number of Schools who are looking for a number of Tutors across the Lancashire area. Tutors are generally utilised when a pupil is out of School for a number of reasons, this can be due to the pupils behaviour, the pupils mental health, the funding/school places available at the school and this can be simply because the pupil cannot cope in full classrooms.
The Schools that currently provide off site tuition for their pupils are currently seeking hard working, empathetic, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Tutors to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils who are not in education currently. Generally speaking, the School the pupil is affiliated with tends to provide some work for the pupil but this is not always the case so having a background in education and having experience planning lessons is ideal.
The candidate suited to this role will be an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor with aspirations of becoming a Teacher or a qualified Teacher looking to take a step down from full classroom teaching.
Because this role is open to so many types of candidates the pay for this type of role can vary for £10 - £25 per hour based on the candidates experience and the type of tuition you're providing.
We currently cover the Lancaster, Preston, Chorley, Blackburn, Blackpool and Burnley areas for tuition and welcome applications from any candidates in these areas.
If you are interested in this type of work please contact Kirsten on 01772 842155 or email with your CV and covering letter.
