Tutoring Opportunities - Oldham
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
If you are confident in your Maths and English skills and are looking for a couple of hours flexible working per day, we are looking for Tutors in the Oldham area to assist children who are seeking home tutoring.
The children are currently attending mainstream or provisional education and have applied through the council to gain extra tutoring at home to help them work towards their GCSE's or foundation skills.
Most of the children are at secondary age and are working at a KS2/KS3 level of core subjects.
A tutor will need to be patient and supportive, helping the students to cover areas they particularly struggle with. A thorough knowledge of the curriculum is not necessary however an idea of topics and modules would be useful.
Tuition mainly commences within the homes of the family who have requested extra help therefore having your own mode of transport or being confident to travel on public transport is essential.
Teaching Personnel offer a competitive rate of pay for tutors and give support and guidance via phone and email, 7am-6pm 5 days per week.
If you think this might be the perfect flexible working opportunity, please apply with your CV. One of our consultants will be in touch.
