Private Tutors Needed in Northamptonshire

About the role:

We are looking for both new and experienced tutors to join our ever expanding team of private tutors working with pupils across Northamptonshire. We work closely with Northamptonshire County Council and The Virtual School providing tuition to students who have been permanently excluded, those at risk of exclusion and Looked After Children.

As one of our tutors, you will be expected to deliver one-to-one lessons at pupils' homes to help with their reintegration into mainstream education. As we cover all age ranges and key stages, we are looking for tutors from primary level up to GCSE. Teaching Personnel can offer flexible working options and constant tuition referrals.

With Teaching Personnel, you can take on as many or as few referrals as you can manage, and you are in charge of your own diary, conducting sessions at a time that works best for you.

Important Information:

  • Lessons predominantly take place at the home, but can also take place at libraries/youth centres/community centres, so you will be expected to travel.
  • Tuition is available across Northamptonshire, so you will have your selection of referrals
  • Tuition is often provided in 2 hourly sessions, twice a week

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as either a private tutor is ideal but not essential
  • As a minimum you need to have worked as either a class teacher or cover supervisor with experience in planning lessons and monitoring progress
  • You need to be able to drive and have access to a car in order to travel to each referral
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with parents/carers of young people

Benefits:

  • Earn up to £25 per hour by tutoring at a time that suits you
  • No shortage of work - referrals for new tuition come in daily
  • Your own dedicated and specialist Tuition Consultant
  • Flexible working options to suit your lifestyle - pick and choose how many referrals you'd like to take on
  • Access to long term, permanent positions within the classroom if you're looking for something different

For more information about our tuition services and how we can help you take the next steps in private tuition, call me today on 01604 521215 to discuss your options.
