Job description

Education is consistently acing challenges around student engagement and attendance, with students being increasingly likely to disengage and avoid education a as a whole. Providing different avenues for these students is becoming a growing necessity, such as in the form of tuition. Tuition/Intervention can be an excellent way for students to engage outside of a traditional classroom paradigm, and succeed on their own conditions. If you are a Fully Qualified Tutor/SEND experienced educator who would like to learn more, please feel free to read on below.

At TP-Tutors, our main goal is to provide support for all students who require it, and to see them succeed/progress onto their life goals. This is a specific case when it comes to SEND/SEMH students, and we need educators willing to step into these students lives and make a difference for them, as sometimes they can be left to the sidelines. Across Lincolnshire (and beyond) this type of provision is growing, and we want to meet the demand and support.

The pay for Fully Qualified Tutors are £25-30 per hour. It is desirable for the applicants to hold full UK driving licence as a selection of the pupils will need to be tutored within their home/at a local library.

Requirements for the role:).

-          A desire to promote and encourage, as well as motivate themselves.

-          An excellent grasp and understanding of the English Language.

-          An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).

-          A strong subject knowledge of the specialism and curriculum of your choice.

-          Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.

-          GCSE delivery experience (Desirable) and UK Delivery experience (Essential).

-          Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
