Job description

We are currently seeking a Maths and English Tutor to join our team in East Midlands, specifically based in Northamptonshire. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational support in Maths and English to students of various ages and levels.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths and English lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Maths, English, Education or related field
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in tutoring Maths and English

Education:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Maths, English, Education or related field

Experience:

  • Prior experience in tutoring Maths and English

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Maths and English curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Maths, English, Education or related field
  • Experience working in Tuition/ Teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
