Job Title: Maths and English Tutor

Location: East of England, Norfolk

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Maths and English Tutor to join our team in Norfolk. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Maths and English tuition to students of all ages and abilities.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths and English lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop individualised learning plans
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
  • Prepare students for exams and help them improve their overall academic performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Mathematics, English, Education or related field
  • Proven experience in tutoring Maths and English

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the national curriculum for Maths and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant subject area
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
