Tutor
Salary: £225 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide one-to-one academic support to students in a specific subject area.
- Create tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Assess student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding progress and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and feedback.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in the subject area being taught.
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient and adaptable to different learning styles.
Education:
A degree in the subject area being taught is required.
Experience:
Prior experience in tutoring or teaching is essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the subject matter.
- Ability to motivate and engage students.
- Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective lessons.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field.
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds.
Working Conditions:
This role is temporary and requires working part-time hours. The tutor will be based in London, providing support to students in an academic setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
