English and Maths tutors needed in Leicester to provide one-to-one education to students who may be excluded from school, have medical needs or special needs, be temporarily lacking a school placement or recently have come into the country.

As a Tutor, you will be tutoring KS1 and/or KS2 and/or KS3 and/or GCSE Combined Maths & English. Tutoring takes place in the student's home or a local library. Ideally, you will be able to commit to 10 hours per week, paid at a rate of £25.00 per hour.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • ESSENTIAL - An enhanced 'child only' DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
  • ESSENTIAL - Good communication skills
  • ESSENTIAL - minimum 2 years teaching or tutoring experience
  • A degree is preferred, however candidates with other qualifications will also be considered
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum is necessary
  • You must have a passion and drive to make a difference in the lives of the students we work with
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
