Job description

Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Part-time | Local outreach and alternative provision settings

We’re seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Maths and English support to learners across the East Riding area.
This role involves working with students outside mainstream settings, helping them to achieve key qualifications in Functional Skills at Entry Level to Level 2.

You’ll use creative, adaptable approaches to keep learning engaging and accessible — ideal for tutors who enjoy one-to-one or small group work that really makes a difference.

We work with local schools and alternative provisions across the East Riding, offering consistent referrals and full planning and safeguarding support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
