Job description

We are looking for an SEND/SEMH experience tutor within the Hull area, to support students of all ages within the community and surrounding areas. As a tutor, we would expect a patient and professional approach to roles, and being able to establish trusting relationships between yourself and the student, so they are aware they are in a safe space for learning and expression.

The pay rate for a tutor varies from £25-£30 per hour, dependant on experience, roles and the demands of the student. We would ideally like educators with a drivers license, as travel may be required depending on where the tuition may take place.

Requirements for the role:).

-          A desire to promote and encourage, as well as motivate themselves.

-          An excellent grasp and understanding of the English Language.

-          An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).

-          A strong subject knowledge of the specialism and curriculum of your choice.

-          Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.

-          GCSE delivery experience (Desirable) and UK Delivery experience (Essential).

-          Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
