Make a Difference in Kirklees – One Child at a Time with TP Tutors

At TP Tutors, we believe every child in Kirklees deserves the opportunity to succeed—no matter their background, personal challenges, or life circumstances. That’s why we provide targeted, high-impact tuition for the children and young people who need it most.

We’re currently looking for qualified teachers and experienced tutors in Kirklees to join our mission. You’ll work one-to-one with pupils outside of mainstream education, helping them re-engage with learning, grow in confidence, and achieve their full potential.

You’ll be working with local children and young people who may be:

  • Looked After Children living in care settings across Kirklees

  • Pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

  • Young people who are excluded or awaiting school placements

  • Children experiencing anxiety, trauma, or poor mental health

  • EAL/ESOL learners new to the UK or developing English skills

  • Pupils in both primary and secondary age groups

These learners often need more than a tutor—they need a trusted adult who can offer consistency, encouragement, and belief in their potential.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver in-person, tailored tuition sessions in and around Kirklees

  • Liaise with parents, carers, and social workers to arrange and plan lessons

  • Assess individual needs and create bespoke learning plans

  • Track progress using our user-friendly LEAP platform

  • Access regular support, resources, and CPD via the TP Tutors Academy

Why Join TP Tutors in Kirklees?

  • Flexible work that fits your availability and lifestyle

  • Meaningful teaching that allows you to see the real-world impact of your support

  • Be part of a supportive team and a nationwide network of dedicated tutors

  • Contribute to educational equity in one of Yorkshire’s most diverse and community-focused boroughs

We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified teachers or experienced tutors

  • Empathetic, patient educators who can build strong relationships quickly

  • Creative individuals who can make learning engaging and accessible

Ready to make a difference in a child’s life—right here in Kirklees?
