Job Title: KS2 Outreach SEN Tutor

Job Duties:

• Provide tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one or small group setting
• Develop individualised learning plans based on students' unique needs and learning styles
• Implement effective teaching strategies to help students achieve their academic goals and improve their overall educational experience
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a cohesive support network for students with SEN

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children with SEN, specifically in the KS2 age group
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of SEN educational practises and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Proficient in creating and implementing individualised learning plans

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
• Work primarily in learners homes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
