Job Title: KS2 Outreach SEN Tutor

Salary:
£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance academic progress and social development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully supporting students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the UK education system
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN education
- Experience working in outreach or community-based education programmes
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries
- Opportunity for remote or in-person tutoring
- Collaborative work environment with a focus on student support and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
