Job description

Do you thrive on making learning accessible, enjoyable, and achievable for every child? We’re looking for an SEN-qualified teacher in Goole who can bring patience, creativity, and specialist strategies to the classroom.

You’ll work with pupils who may have autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or complex learning profiles. Your role will be to adapt the curriculum, break down learning into manageable steps, and celebrate every success — no matter how small. Collaboration is key, whether you’re liaising with support staff, therapists, or parents to ensure each child gets the best possible educational experience.

You might be leading sensory-friendly lessons, building confidence through structured literacy programmes, or introducing technology to help pupils communicate and engage with learning. Every day will be different, and every day will matter.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
