Job description

Make a Difference as an SEN Tutor – Farnborough Opportunities

TP Tutors is looking for passionate and adaptable tutors in Farnborough to support students with Special Educational Needs through personalised learning programmes.

This role is well-suited to individuals who are committed to helping young people thrive, while benefiting from a flexible working schedule.

Location: Farnborough and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time
Position: SEN Tutor

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver tailored lessons in Maths and/or English
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with SEN, including autism and SEMH
  • Use creative and flexible teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
  • Build a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Support students in developing both academically and emotionally

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs
  • Confidence in delivering core subject support
  • Based in Farnborough or able to travel within the local area
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and nurturing approach
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
