Help Learners Thrive Through Personalised Tuition
TP Tutors is looking for compassionate and committed SEN Tutors to deliver one-to-one tuition across Southampton and the surrounding areas.
This rewarding opportunity involves supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND requirements. Through tailored tuition, you'll help learners build confidence, overcome barriers and achieve meaningful academic progress.
Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one sessions in schools, learners' homes and community settings

What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one tuition sessions
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
- Motivate learners and build their confidence
- Track progress and maintain accurate session records
- Work collaboratively with schools, families and other professionals to support learner outcomes
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people in both mainstream and SEN/SEND settings
- Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring or educational support experience
- A good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
- Full willingness to travel throughout Southampton and nearby areas
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
