About the Role

TP Tutors is seeking experienced 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised educational support to pupils across Brackley and the surrounding areas.

Tuition will take place either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during normal school hours. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers and experienced education professionals who are passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality 1:1 tuition tailored to each pupil’s individual needs.
• Plan and prepare suitable lessons, activities, and learning resources.
• Support pupils with academic progress, confidence, and engagement.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different abilities and learning needs.
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils.
• Monitor progress and provide clear feedback where required.
• Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, and other education professionals.
• Maintain a professional approach and follow relevant safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ UK teaching experience.
• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition is desirable.
• Relevant teaching qualification or strong teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual learning needs.
• Patient, reliable, and committed to supporting pupils’ development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Location

Assignments are available across Brackley and surrounding areas. Tutors must be able to travel reliably to pupils’ homes or allocated school settings during school hours.
