Inspire Progress: Become a 1:1 Tutor in Maths, English or Science – KS1–KS4
Are you passionate about education and helping young people succeed? Do you have experience supporting children in their learning? We’re looking for dedicated individuals to deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition in Maths, English, or Science, giving pupils the strongest start to the new academic year.
At TP Tutors, we support learners across KS1 to KS4, helping them grow in confidence, fill knowledge gaps, and stay on track. Whether you're a qualified teacher, teaching assistant, graduate, or experienced tutor, this flexible role lets you make a real difference in a student’s educational journey.
About the Role:

Deliver personalised 1:1 sessions in Maths, English or Science, tailored to individual needs

Support learners in their homes, local libraries, or community spaces

Help students catch up, boost confidence, and build strong foundations for the year ahead

Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
-
Foster an engaging, encouraging environment that supports learning

Apply positive behaviour strategies to ensure productive sessions
What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience working with children or young people (education background ideal)
-
Confident teaching Maths, English or Science up to KS4/GCSE level
-
Able to adapt sessions for different learning styles and abilities
-
Clear communication, planning, and classroom management skills
-
A genuine passion for helping learners achieve their goals
Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can help)

Right to work in the UK
-
Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
