Teaching Assistants Wanted in Salford – November 2025 & January 2026 Starts

If you're enthusiastic about working with young people and considering a future in teaching, SEND, pastoral care, or educational psychology—this role could be a great opportunity. 

 

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who need extra support.
  • Helping with classroom prep, displays, and resources.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and tracking student progress.
  • Building strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Accessing ongoing training, mentoring, and CPD throughout the year.

This is more than just a job—it’s a stepping stone into the world of education. You’ll gain practical experience, receive regular feedback, and have the chance to shadow experienced professionals.

Bonus (but not essential):

  • Experience working or volunteering with children or young people.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • A genuine interest in education or youth work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
