Trainee Teaching Assistant – Primary School | Lancaster

This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 – ideal for someone considering a future career in teaching or education.
About the Role:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
Based in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Lancaster
Immediate start available (or flexible for the right candidate)
Supporting children in a variety of classroom settings, including 1:1 and small groups
Helping to deliver engaging lessons and providing general classroom support
Assisting with learning activities, behaviour support, and daily routines across EYFS, KS1 & KS2
No previous school experience is required – just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn!
Full training and support will be provided by both the school and your consultant at Teaching Personnel.

✔️ Willingness to undergo safeguarding training and complete a DBS check
✔️ Previous experience with children (e.g., volunteering, babysitting, sports coaching) is beneficial but not essential
