Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a primary school?

Due to increasing demand from our local schools, we are looking for reliable, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across Burnley and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for flexible work around your existing commitments or hoping to secure a long-term position in one school, we'd love to hear from you!

✏️ The roles could include:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Providing 1:1 support for individual pupils
• Supporting children with SEND and additional needs
• Delivering small-group interventions
• Supporting pupils with their literacy, numeracy and phonics
• Helping children to develop their confidence and independence
• Supporting with classroom activities and lesson preparation
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

We would love to hear from you if you:

✔️ Have experience working with children or young people
✔️ Have experience within a primary school or similar setting
✔️ Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, or have suitable experience
✔️ Are patient, nurturing and enthusiastic
✔️ Are confident supporting children with varying needs and abilities
✔️ Are looking for work in Accrington and the surrounding area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
