Job description

I am currently looking to recruit a high number of Trainee Teachers and Cover Supervisors to work on a daily basis throughout the Wakefield and Kirklees area. A number of my secondary school clients throughout Kirklees and Wakefield are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are able to drop in on a short-term day to day basis to assist cover classes across the 11-16 age range.

This role is very rewarding as it allows you to gain valuable secondary school experience while also earning money along the way. With you working across a range of subjects in differing settings, it is invaluable, rewarding work which could be ideal before starting teacher training or just to fit in with your other commitments. With you not being tied down to and the flexible opportunities here at Teaching Personnel, we are the perfect solution for part-time work.

The specification of a Cover Supervisor/Trainee Teacher:

  • Passion and enthusiasm with a genuine interest to teach in the future
  • Degree qualification - any subject would be considered
  • Punctuality and flexibility to work in a variety of differing settings
  • Willingness to travel if needs be - have a car or able to use public transport
  • Available at least 3 days per week

With a lot of my client secondary schools being easily accessible via car or public transport, the early morning commute is easily done and with working hours being between 8:30am - 3pm, this could be the ideal role for you.

Benefits of working with Teaching Personnel:

  • Flexible work opportunities - day to day and long-term work
  • Competitive rates of pay - between ÂŁ54 - ÂŁ80 per day
  • Your own personal designated consultant securing work for you
  • Access to our own exclusive CPD Academy
  • Unlimited Referral Scheme

If you would like to know anymore information, please do not hesitate to contact Tom Cullen at the Leeds Bradford Secondary Branch as soon as possible and make sure you apply as soon as possible.
