Governors at a Clitheroe based Secondary school are looking for a KS3/4 Art Teacher for the Autumn term, with the view to making a permanent position available, should you get on well in school!

The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, committed to academic excellence and have the ability to motivate, support and enthuse students. You will join an established department with a forward-thinking and dedicated team Technology specialists who achieve excellent results. 

The school:

An accomplished 11-16 provision in the Clitheroe area. The school is implementing a plan of improvement to ensure that the pupils receive a top class education. The school offers a calm and purposeful learning environment where students can flourish and succeed.

What are we looking for in you? 

  • To be successful you need to be a Technology Teacher, ideally specialising in Resistant Materials, who is passionate and knowledgeable about your subject
  • You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (NQT's and Experienced Teachers will be considered)
  • To convey excellent leadership qualities to be able to guide pupils on their learning journey

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
