Are you Team-Teach trained? Are you looking for a role working in mainstream school with SEN children? Do you have a calm yet resilient nature?

A Colchester Primary School is looking for a Team-Teach trained Teaching Assistant / LSA to work with challenging students with a variety of different needs. From ADHD to Emotional and Behavioural/ Social Difficulties, pupils can be difficult to support at times so a patient, understanding and calm nature is essential. The school requires an immediate start with the opportunity for a permanent position; the post will be Monday to Friday. To be a successful Team-Teach TA you will need to be:

  • A strong team player
  • Team Teach Trained
  • Quick thinking and able to adapt
  • Experienced with Behaviour Management techniques
  • A Minimum of 5 GCSE's at A-C including English and Maths

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
