Have you done Support work in an SEN or Behavioural specific environment?

Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants and Support Staff to assist in the learning and education of SEN and Behaviour schools in Dorset.

The schools are located in the glorious greenery of Dorset, from the sandy beaches in Bournemouth to the woodlands of Blandford. We work with a variety of unique Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools.

Our SEN schools predominantly assist with Autism and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health). The school can have very small class sizes (of around 6-8 pupils) and have a high level of support staff depending of the Needs of the students. The pupils can sometimes display challenging behaviour, so being comfortable and confident with this is excellent.

The be successful in this role you should:

  • have experience working within a primary school setting or transferable skills
  • be enthusiastic about supporting pupils with SEN or Behaviour
  • be resilient and creative
  • have good behaviour management

Pay Rates for these positions range from; £9ph for Teaching Assistants, £100 - £130 per day for Teachers & £60 - £80 per day for Cover Supervisors.

Working Hours on average start at 08:00-08:30am and finish at 3:30-4:00pm, subject to school and role.
