Teaching Assistants with SEMH experience needed for schools in the New Moston area of Manchester

We are working with a number of client schools in the North Manchester area. These schools are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant and hard-working staff. You will work with SEN students identified with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will working with children across all key stages. By supporting classroom teachers in teaching and learning you will contribute towards a purposeful learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of SEMH and phonic schemes will be advantageous.
