Teaching Assistants - SEMH Experience

Teaching Personnel are working with a Primary pupil referral unit in South Manchester, who are seeking teaching assistants to join their specialist team.

The Individual:

  • Team Teach Training
  • Phonics Experience
  • Mainstream Experience
  • Challenging Behaviour Experience

The School:

  • Caters for EYFS, KS1 & KS2
  • Has a fantastic outreach team
  • Supports staff in personal development
  • Focus on returning pupils back to mainstream settings

The role:

  • Provide a nurturing environment where young people feel safe, respected and valued.
  • Place young people and their families and carers at the centre of their learning journeys.
  • Provide a broad range of opportunities, allowing pupils to progress academically, socially and emotionally.
