Teaching Personnel are working with one of our partner schools to recruit 11 new Teaching Assistants for the new academic year.

The School is smaller than average and caters specifically for pupils with SEN including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, Challenging Behaviours, ODD and Learning Difficulties. The School provides education and support for 5 - 19 year olds and candidates must be willing to work with all age groups.

The School also have a residential home on site which you may be asked to work in as well.

The roles will be made up of School vacancies (so working 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday) and residential vacancies which may include shift or weekend work, as a residential worker you will still be expected to work in School during your shift too.

The candidate(s) must be; hard working, empathetic, enthusiastic, confident and experienced in working with pupils who can display difficult behaviours or pupils with SEN.

The candidate may be expected to provide personal care too when required and the ideal candidate will be Team Teach trained, but this is not essential.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day or a permanent salary of 15,000 - 17,000 per year dependent on experience and qualifications

- Long term position available

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN and Challenging behaviours
