Teaching Personnel work alongside several Secondary schools and academies across Salford, aiding them in recruiting Teaching Assistants on a regular basis. Our client schools and academies rely on us to provide Teaching Assistants for both short term and long term vacancies.

If you are interested in a Teaching Assistant role, please see further information below:

  • Opportunity to work as a full-time Teaching Assistant in one of our client schools.
  • Opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant on a short term basis, covering vacancies on a supply basis ranging in roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide support and guidance for pupils ranging in levels of learning ability.
  • Possibility to work alongside students with learning or behavioural difficulties.
  • Aid students in both small groups and on a 1:1 basis when withdrawn from the classroom for extra support
  • Earn up to £300 per week, depending on experience.

Working as a Teaching Assistant in our client schools, responsibilities may include:

  • Working with children who require additional support including students who may display challenging behaviour
  • Promoting positive behaviour management in order to guide those with challenging behaviour
  • Providing additional support within subjects such as English, Maths or Science
  • Being able to assess and evaluate student's progress and report back to Senior teachers

Our client Secondary schools and academies are located across Salford and can be accessed via the A580 and M60 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. For candidates who do not drive, our client schools are also easily accessible via several forms of public transport from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Bolton, Bury and central Manchester.
