Teaching Assistant – Supporting Unique Learners | Greater Norwich Area

Based in the Greater Norwich area, our school celebrates inclusion, respect, and individual growth. We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant with energy, empathy, and resilience to support learners who thrive with extra guidance and personalised support.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with students who have additional or complex learning needs.

  • Use targeted strategies to boost confidence, independence, and life skills.

  • Reinforce literacy, numeracy, and communication in meaningful, practical contexts.

  • Create a safe, inclusive space where every student feels valued.

  • Encourage teamwork and social skills through structured, engaging activities.

  • Communicate clearly and work well in a team.

  • Are eager to grow through training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Full, valid UK driving licence.

  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday preferred).

  • Dementia or mental health care.

  • Prison service, police, or armed forces.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
