The school are a mixed ability 11-19 Secondary school located approximately 10 mins drive from Cardiff City Centre. In the past this school has bee praised on its supportive nature and the approach it has for learning.

Within this Secondary school we are supporting the recruitment to find Teaching Assistants for 4 vacancies starting on the 3rd September. These 4 roles will require you to have a supportive nature and a positive outlook to learning. The school have specified they need people who can bring another dimension to the department and you will have to be a resilient individual that does not get phased by challenging behaviour.

Key points to the role:

  • Give support to pupils with their curriculum
  • Help with additional learning such as wellbeing, behaviour management & mental health awareness
  • Act as a support function between the Teachers, leadership Team & Parents/Social Workers
  • Participate in extra curricular activities such as Sport, Art, Drama & Music
