Are you seeking a role within a vibrant school committed to promoting pupil development?

Teaching Assistant required within a two form entry Primary School based in Sunderland to cover maternity leave beginning May 21st 2019. The role involves supporting the Year 3 Class Teacher in promoting the development of pupils and assisting in nurturing their creativity and educational skills.

The role involves:

  • Striving to make a difference within a wonderful community of staff and children.
  • Assisting the class teacher to create and prepare lesson plans.
  • Working across numerous classes providing additional support where necessary.

The School has a very supportive culture and provides a great opportunity for Teaching Assistants who are looking to gain experience and progress in their career. In a recent Ofsted report the school were marked 'Good' and pride themselves in their creative teaching techniques. Several methods of transport are available including a Metro station within 0.5 miles and bus services running regularly. If you're travelling by car then the School has onsite parking available.

Requirements:

  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)
  • Available from May 21st 2019 - June 14th 2019.
