Teaching Personnel is currently in partnership with a number of schools in the Sunderland area who have placed an increasing demand on hiring Teaching Assistants, on both full-time and part-time basis. If you are working towards a career in teaching, or wish to gain some classroom experience alongside other commitments, then working with us will be highly beneficial to you.

Though candidates should ideally have prior experience working with young people-for example through tuition or support work-we are happy to consider individuals who show keen interest in the field through other means.

OVERVIEW

• Full and part-time teaching assistants required
• Providing pupils with additional support in small groups and/or on a 1:1 basis
• Overseeing the completion of cover work in the absence of teachers
• Collaborating with the teacher to produce engaging teaching activities for students
• Planning and arranging tailored sessions to pupils
• £55-75 a day
