Teaching Assistant Roles in Waterside, Southampton

Teaching Personnel are working with a number or Primary Schools in the Totton, Waterside and New Forest area's of Southampton. We have a number of positions available for Teaching Assistants to work with SEN children on a 1:1 basis as well as general TAs across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.


All of our positions will start on a temporary basis with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidates. The positions we have available are mainly full time, working Monday-Friday, 8.30-3.30 and are long term.


We have a school in Totton who are looking for two candidates to work as general TAs in Key Stage 2. They are asking for applicants to have knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience working within a school environment. You will be required to work with small groups of children and on a 1:1 basis. Strengths in Literacy and Numeracy will be desirable.


We also have a school in the New Forest who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support behaviour in Key Stage 2. You will be required to work with a pupil on a 1:1 basis, both inside the classroom and in break-out rooms. Experience supporting behaviour is desirable.


Finally, we have another school looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to help support children in their Reception class. They are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of the EYFS.


Requirements:
Minimum
* experience of working with children
* GCSEs (A* to C) in English and mathematics
Candidates will need clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) registered with the Update Service.
