Teaching Assistant required in Preston!

Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties and/or adults or children with very challenging behaviours?

Are you willing to work with young people who are likely to be verbally or physically aggressive?

Teaching Personnel work exclusively with a Preston based Behavioural Unit who are seeking Support Assistants to work on an ad-hoc basis with pupils who are often difficult in their behaviours. The School is smaller than average and it currently has around 40 pupils on roll. The School caters for KS3/4 pupils and an understanding of the KS3/4 curriculum would be ideal.

The role will initially start on an ad-hoc basis but it is likely that you will become a long term, if not permanent member of staff within the first couple of months as the School are constantly gaining additional pupils.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
