Teaching Assistant required in Leyland!

A Leyland based Behavioural Unit is seeking a Teaching Assistant.

The School caters for pupils with SEMH difficulties, Autism and KS3/4 pupils who struggle remaining in mainstream education. The School is smaller than average and currently caters for approximately 45 pupils. The pupils are aged between 10- 18 years old and they often display challenging behaviours. The School would prefer a candidate who holds their Team Teach qualification but this is not essential.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties and/or challenging behaviours and be willing to work full time and be looking for a long term role with a forward thinking school.

The role is likely to start after the Easter holidays although there is potential for it to start sooner for the right candidate. The role is full time and you must be willing to provide one voluntary day in School prior to the role starting.
