Job description

Teaching  Personnel are working with an ‘Outstanding’ SEN School in Manchester who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support within their school. The support will be required at their secondary site to work with young people with Autism and challenging  behaviours.


The school have requested that the candidate:

  • Has school based experience (ideally working within a secondary school)

  • Experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour

  • Experience of working with needs such as SEMH and Autism

  • To work from 8.15am to 4pm Monday to Thursday with an earlier finish on Friday

  • Is Team Teach trained (desirable)

  • Someone who is resilient

  • A background in residential care is also beneficial but not essential

  • You must be available to trial at the school
