Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based School which caters for KS3/4 pupils with additional learning needs. The School is based on the outskirts of Preston and currently has approximately 55 pupils on roll. The School caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and pupils in School will likely display challenging behaviours. The pupils in School are predominantly male and candidates working in this School must be confident when working with pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The role will start as soon as possible and candidates must be available full time. The role would suit a candidate who comes from an education, care, youth worker or military background and candidates who hold their Team Teach qualification will be favoured, but this is not essential. The role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who often display challenging behaviours and the school hours are 8.40am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday.

The candidate must be hard working, empathetic, enthusiastic and have experience working with children or adults who have SEMH Difficulties and/or display challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day
