Full Time role in an Oldham Primary school requires an Autism specialist Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil starting in September -OL4

  • Working full time with a pupil with mild autism and behavioural traits.
  • Friendly, hardworking "good" school with a strong ethos instilled in the children and a hard working positive staff team.

This good and hardworking school are looking for a positive and inspiring Autism TA. The successful candidate will engage both children in the work and adapt it to motivate and inspire them to learn and ask questions about the work. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with challenging behaviour and wanting further experience within an SEN setting. You will be supporting children with academic studies, life skills and creative foundation subjects. The school has a supportive, laid back atmosphere where support for all is highly promoted. The successful candidate will need to have solid experience working with children with ASC and restraint training is desirable but not essential.

If you are a team player, can get stuck in and use your initiative - this is a fantastic opportunity for you to utilise these skills in a way where you can make a real difference.
