Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils who display challenging behaviours?

Teaching Personnel have an opportunity in the Leyland area for a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a role supporting pupils with additional needs.

The School are seeking a hard working, empathetic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who often display very challenging behaviours. The School are looking for candidates with a passion for working with pupils who are harder to reach and candidates must be confident in their behaviour management skills.

The School is based on the outskirts of Leyland, near Preston and caters for KS3/4 pupils who have SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging Behaviours. The School are looking to appoint a full time, long term member of staff and there is a possibility of the role becoming permanent for the right candidate.

School hours are 8.45am - 4pm Monday - Friday and candidates will ideally hold a driving licence as your job may include working across 2 sites.

The candidate successful for this role will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day

- Long term position available

- Rewarding position supporting pupils who have SEMH Difficulties

The ideal candidate will hold their Team Teach qualification or be willing to undertake their Team Teach training but this is not essential.
