Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in Wareham who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work within its SEN department from September 2019. This would be working 1:1 or small group work with children with Autism on a full time basis.
The successful candidate daily duties will include;
- Providing support for children within lessons
- Use your initiative to differentiate activities to support the student's individual needs
- Work closely with the class teacher
- Excellent motivation skills
To be a successful candidate for this role you will need to;
- Have previous experience working within a school setting
- Be able to communicate effectively with different members of staff and parents
- Have knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Have a friendly caring personality
