Well-being Coach – COVID-19 Cover – Starting January 18th 2021 – Ending June 25th

Teaching personnel are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our partner secondary school. This will be a full-time position Monday – Friday with an hourly rate of GBP10. A great Cardiff location (CF3 Area) means that transport and travel routes are easily accessible with onsite parking.

Due to the recent announcement’s supporting pupil’s mental health and vulnerable pupils will be key throughout. Our partner school are looking for someone to help with daily well-being check ins as well as supporting vulnerable pupils who are within the school as well as at home virtually for any students who will be continuing to shield at home.

You will be required to work 1:1 with pupil’s working with them to develop their interpersonal skills and help them open up about things that may be bothering them. You will be checking in on the welfare of the pupils proving emotional support. Due to the huge change in routine our partner school want to ensure that all pupils have the correct support in place.

The ideal Teaching Assistant…

  • Be able to work Monday – Friday (9:30 – 4:30)
  • Confident with 1:1 support
  • Be open to applying for a DBS check (Support will be provided to apply)
  • Care or Psychology background (preferred not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
