Teaching Assistant

Are you a recent University Graduate who has studied in Education? Have you got a Teaching Assistant Qualification? Do you have experience working with Primary aged children?

A Primary school we work closely with in Pontefract (WF7) are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant starting this September 2021 to help support children in Key Stage 2. This is a full time role and the working hours will be from 8:30am - 3:30pm. 

There will be a requirement for a successful candidate who can work alongside teaching and support staff at our highly supportive primary school in Pontefract. This is a Junior School and you will be based with a class within the KS2 Phase. 

A lot of learning will be missed by the time the school reopens in September, therefore we are looking for confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can support learning wherever required with small groups and on a 1-2-1 basis across the KS2 Phase.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
