Teaching Assistant

Join a vibrant secondary school in Tameside seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant from September 2020.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work with our client schools Inclusion Team and Special Educational Needs department, supporting students with Special Educational Needs, Additional Needs and Disabilities.

This position will commence in September 2020 and will run throughout the remainder of the academic year on a full time basis. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will ensure that the best possible progress is made for all students regardless of their specific needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will provide additional support to students with additional needs and SEN to help them achieve their targets. Support will be provided through in class support, small group and one-to-one support. They will also help with the preparation and creation of resources and strategies to support learners of all needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting secondary aged students with Special Educational Needs in a school setting or will have transferable experience.

This thriving secondary school located in Tameside, with over 600 pupils on roll. The school is located a short drive from surrounding areas including East Manchester, Stockport and the High Peak and caters to a diverse background of students from all areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
